On March 31, the 3rd Suzhou International Flow Battery Energy Storage Industry Conference and Exhibition was held in Suzhou. The conference, themed "Diligence and Collaboration, Hybrid Storage for the Future," focused on the latest developments and future trends in flow battery energy storage technology. ZH Energy was invited to attend and deliver a keynote speech, joining industry peers to discuss development opportunities.
During the conference's award ceremony, ZH Energy was honored with the "Golden Elephant Award" for the Most Investment Value in Energy Storage, recognizing its outstanding technological innovation, market potential, and investment value.

At the event, Vice President Yuan Hao delivered a keynote speech titled "Commercial Progress of Sulfur-Iron Flow Battery Technology," sharing research achievements in cutting-edge technology routes such as sulfur-iron flow batteries. He highlighted that the sulfur-iron flow battery technology, using low-cost and easily accessible active materials like sulfur and iron, reduces electrolyte costs to nearly one-tenth of vanadium-based electrolytes, making it the most cost-effective among all flow battery technology routes. This significantly lowers the system cost for 6–12-hour energy storage systems. Notably, the technology has entered the industrial validation phase, with a sulfur-iron battery technology validation system jointly implemented with State Grid running stably for three months, meeting all design specifications. Building on this breakthrough, ZH Energy will unveil the world's first MWh sulfur-iron flow battery system at the 13th Beijing International Summit and Exhibition on Energy Storage on April 10 (Thursday) at 10:45 AM, marking a critical step toward scaling up the technology from the lab to practical applications.

This award acknowledges ZH Energy's achievements in technological innovation and its future growth potential. The company has secured equity investments from leading institutions such as Sequoia China, Yensunness Capital, and CMB International, and has established operational centers, R&D and production hubs, and a GWh-scale system integration base in Shenzhen, Changsha, and Shanxi. Moving forward, ZH Energy will continue to advance long-duration flow battery technology, leveraging its technical advantages and comprehensive capabilities to drive the large-scale and sustainable development of China's long-duration energy storage industry.
